Big news: We sold our ‘dream home’ in California, and have headed to the Midwest! But first, we stopped to visit family and friends, and get one last lungful (at least for awhile) of coastal air! We have traveled through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. Two vehicles and two trailers – one for sleeping as we travel, and one for carrying our “Cluck Buggy”. Cheater Chicken Chili

Wow – it’s been a long time since our last post! We’ve been a bit sidetracked with Covid, family matters, and getting repairs and painting done on the rest of the property. With being on the go so much, easy-peasy…

    Coyote Pup Rescue

When we lived in the city, the only wildlife we saw on a regular basis were pigeons, hummingbirds, and various people on our street! Since moving to northern California, we have experienced critters of all types – foxes, bears, bobcats,…

    Sheet Pan Cheesy Jalapenos

For years, we’ve been making jalapeno bites the messy way: Stuff jalapenos with cheese, dip in wet and dry ingredients, then bake. Using this process, we always ended up with goopy hands, a messy counter, and left-over ingredients. We didn’t…
